What We Think
The Energizer Max AA is a solid, name-brand AA battery. While its mid range performance is nothing to scoff at, it doesn't quite live up to its "50% longer lasting (than basic alkaline in demanding devices)" claim. Although it does beat the AmazonBasics High Performance AA by about 40% in the Medium Power capacity test (6.8 vs 4.8 hours), so maybe it depends on what the definition of "basic alkaline" is.
